Magnolia Trees are one of the first to bloom in Paris, and these beautiful pink flowers are the long awaited sign that Spring is approaching! Magnolia season begins in March, and will last until end of March / early April, weather dependent!
There are a couple of places in Paris where the magnolia trees are particularly breathtaking – scroll down to see my favourite 5 locations, and make sure to add them to your Paris check list!
1. Champs de Mars
Champ de Mars is the garden right beside the Eiffel Tower, and you can’t get a more picturesque photo then blossoms with the Eiffel in the background! On the left side of the garden while facing the Eiffel Tower, you will come across these beautiful Magnolia trees!
2. Palais Royale
The Jardin du Palais Royale probably has the most impressive Magnolia tree selection, with trees throughout the garden. This garden is a beautiful place to visit any time of year, but make sure you definitely have it on your list in March! Grab a coffee from Cafe Kitsune, and sit with a book under the magnolia trees – can you think of a more ideal situation??
3. Hôtel de Ville
On the river side of Hôtel de Ville you will find these beautiful Magnolia trees!
4. Musée du Louvre
In the Jardin des Tuileries you will find all sorts of beautiful blooms every season. But in March, there are a couple of Magnolia trees that bloom, and this particular one is my favourite, as you can capture the beautiful Louvre Museum in the background!
5. Parc Monceau
Parc Monceau is another hidden Paris gem! This particular tree was found at the exit of the park onto Avenue Van Dyck.
There’s my 5 recommended Magnolia Tree locations, have I missed one of your favourites? Let me know in the comments! And happy blossom hunting!
