we've got you
Hey there! I'm Janelle, a Kiwi soaking up the good life in picturesque Provence, swapping the hustle of Paris for the charm of lavender fields and chilled rosé. Back in July 2017, my husband and I traded our Kiwi roots for the City of Love's magic. As a foster care social worker, I hit pause on my career, and guess what? A whole new adventure unfolded.
Paris, oh Paris! This city's beauty is just too hard to resist. Around every corner, there's something that'll make your heart skip a beat. It was here that my photography hobby turned into a full-blown passion. Fast forward to April 2020, and voila, My Paris Portraits was born! Through my lens, I've been lucky enough to help others fall head over heels for this incredible city.
After the birth of my twins in July 2022, my husband and I started dreaming of more space and embracing a slower pace of life for our growing family..Come 2023, we took the plunge, chasing sunsets, lavender, and lazy afternoons in Provence. If you're wandering through this gorgeous region, send us a message. I'd love to photograph you in this insanely beautiful corner of the world.
After being long distance with my boyfriend for a year and a half; I packed three suitcases and moved with my cat Remus from Texas to France in early 2024.
My work has orbited around playfulness, connection, and romance since I started photography as a teen and I can’t imagine a better place to document people and the ones they love than in Paris. I remember my first trip here being moved to tears by iconic locations I had only dreamed of visiting, the energy of the city feeling electric and exciting. I am honored to capture those moments for friends, families and lovers alike.
Originally from Colorado, I dreamed of living in Paris ever since I visited the city at 14. In 2023, I decided it was time to make that dream a reality. I packed up my life (and my dog Roxy) and moved to Paris to pursue my master’s in photography.
Now, as a full-time photographer in the City of Light, I’m passionate about capturing authentic moments and helping people create timeless memories in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
I moved to Paris 7 years ago from New Zealand to work in theatre production and performance.
I'm a lover of cycling anywhere and everywhere in Paris, eating out at all the best new spots in my neighbourhood (one of my absolute favorites is martin boire et manger) and all things theatre!
Social media and community management is something that I came to really enjoy as it has a lot of parallels to theatre: it’s all about story telling and connecting to a community of people! I've been behind the emails and running the MPP socials since August 2022.
I'm Bill, a Danish filmmaker and photographer with a deep passion for storytelling and connecting with people. With a background in both visual media and hospitality, I bring a unique mix of technical expertise, emotional intelligence, and warmth to every shoot. My experience working with diverse groups, especially families and children, has helped me develop a natural talent for creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
I always approach every session with empathy and curiosity. I truly believe in the power of asking questions, building trust, and creating comfort. I’ve found that my calm and grounded presence helps turn photoshoots into meaningful experiences.
