Embracing the Charm of April in Paris

Hello, I’m a little late to welcome you into April! But I couldn’t let my tardiness stop me from sharing with you about my favorite month in Paris! As the city shakes off its winter coat, April showers us with warmer days (interspersed with a sprinkle of rain, of course) and the whole place bursts into a kaleidoscope of colors! Here’s how to make the most of Paris in April, according to yours truly:

Paris by Bike

Pedaling through Paris is hands down one of my favorite things to do. With the sun shining brighter and the breeze warmer, renting a bike and exploring the charming neighborhoods becomes even more of a joy ride. And if you’re up for it, consider hopping on a bike tour! Our friends at Bike About Tours offer incredible Paris bike tours and bike rentals too.

Mini Sessions

Our Spring mini sessions are underway! This April our shoots are located amongst the Cherry blossom trees near the Eiffel Tower!  It’s the perfect way to preserve memories of your Parisian adventure.

Blossom Spotting

April marks the arrival of cherry  blossoms in Paris, transforming the city into a floral paradise.Need tips on where to catch these beauties? Check out this blog post. And let’s not forget about wisteria – here are my top three spots: Grand Mosquée de Paris, Rue de l’Abreuvoir, and Au Vieux Paris d’Arcole.

Apero on a Terrasse

Now, this is when Paris truly comes alive – apero hour! Grab a seat at a Parisian café terrace, pick your favourite beverage, and bask in the afternoon sun. It’s the quintessential Parisian experience!

Giverny Day Trip

Monet’s legendary gardens reopen in April (this year, they opened on March 29th). It’s the perfect excuse for a day trip from Paris. Get lost amidst the breathtaking gardens that inspired Monet’s masterpieces – it’s pure magic!

Art Exhibitions

Here are two exhibitions you won’t want to miss this April:

• Henri Matisse at Fondation Louis Vuitton (until September 9)
• A New Look at Jan Van Eyck’s masterpiece at the Louvre (until June 17)

Musical Gardens Shows at the Palace of Versailles

This April the magical garden show in Versailles begins again. So beat the summer crowds and why not head out this April?
