This Spring I have been on the hunt for ALL the best places to find blossoms in Paris. Spring in Paris is pure magic, and it is such a delight watching different trees around the city slowly bloom and show off their beauty. It is truly breath-taking. It can be overwhelming knowing where to find these blossoms, so here’s a quick guide of my favourite 8 locations for cherry blossoms in Paris!
1) Jardin des Plantes
Jardin des Plantes has a collection of incredible blossom trees that all bloom at different stages throughout Spring. But the Cherry blossom tree is incredibly magical! This tree is one of the most extravagant I have seen in Paris – definitely worth a visit!
2) Square Gabriel Pierné
This square was a new discovery for me this year. It is tucked behind the Institute de France and it is absolutely magical when the cherry blossoms are blooming. The perfect spot to settle in with a good book and experience the magic of being under a cherry blossom tree!
3) Jardins du Trocadéro
4) Shakespeare & Co
Visiting Shakespeare & Co is a must for any trip to Paris, but it you can catch it in blossom season, then you are in for an extra special treat!
5. St Paul Metro
These are the blossoms I see the most each year as I pass them on my walk to my local cafe, Le Peloton!
6. Place Louis Aragon
If you are in the neighbourhood then just close by on Ile Saint-Louis is this solo blossom tree, the perfect place to pause with a coffee and people watch, or just take in Paris, with all her glory!
7. Falguière Metro
Another beautiful metro covered in Cherry blossoms – a fun location for photoshoots!
8. Parc Sceaux
I can’t finish this list without including this one! Although it is not technically in Paris. If you want to take a day trip out of Paris then you need to visit Parc Sceaux, a field of Cherry blossoms! There’s nothing quite like it!
There we go, that’s my list of places to see Cherry blossoms in Paris! I have missed some locations, most notably the Cherry blossoms beside Notre Dame. Unfortunately after the fire it is impossible to get up and close to these blossoms, so we just have to enjoy them from a distance across the Seine. But I very much look forward to the day when we will be able to enjoy those up close again!
If I have missed one of your favourite spots to see Cherry Blossoms in Paris, then leave a comment below, I’d love to hear from you!
