In July 2017 my husband and I packed up our life in New Zealand and flew to literally the other side of the world to begin a new adventure – life in Paris!
My husband had spent time as a child living here and it was a life-long dream to head back to the city of lights. I am a trained foster care Social Worker, but knew that coming to Paris would mean I would have to put my career on hold for a while. So I set out to discover what was next for me…
Photography had previously been just a hobby, however I soon discovered that living in Paris means beauty is around every corner! It’s impossible to walk down the streets and not take photos of every beautiful thing you come across!
I love this quote by Vincent Van Gogh
“There is but one Paris and however hard living may be here, and if it became worse and harder even — the French air clears up the brain and does good — a world of good.”
There is just something in the air here – the creativity, joy and love that comes out of this city is purely magical! And I am so thankful that I get to spend my days helping other people fall in love with Paris as much as I have!
